Ep. 244 | I Didn’t Know How to be Sexy

PLAY THE EPISODE

By Francie Winslow

For a long time, I didn’t know how to be sexy.
Not just in the bedroom—but in my body, in my presence, in my energy.

I had no idea how to initiate.
I didn’t know how to be playful.
And honestly… I didn’t feel like my body was mine to enjoy.

I thought I had to do something to be desirable.
Put something on. Perform the right moves. Say the right words.

But what I’ve learned over the years is this:

Sexy isn’t a costume you wear. It’s something you carry when you feel safe, seen, and connected—in your own body first.

In this week’s episode, I share more of my story—how I moved from awkwardness and overthinking into a new sense of aliveness.

It didn’t happen overnight.
It started with small, gentle steps:
– Becoming curious instead of critical
– Reconnecting to sensation, breath, and softness
– Letting go of shame that told me my pleasure didn’t matter

And slowly, I began to feel it:
Confidence. Creativity. Desire.
Not because I was trying harder—but because I was finally coming home to myself.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in your head, uncomfortable in your body, or unsure how to bridge the gap between you and your husband… I want you to know: you’re not broken. And you’re not alone.

You don’t have to perform to be worthy.
You don’t have to be a certain size, age, or shape to be radiant.
And you don’t have to figure it out all at once.

You get to learn.
You get to receive.
You get to enjoy the gift of intimacy, not just give it.

If this resonates, I hope you’ll listen to the episode—and if you’re ready to take one more step, I’d love to invite you to my new class:
