Welcome to the very first episode of Female by Design. I’m so grateful you’re here with me.
If you’ve been with me for a while, you know this space was previously called Heaven in Your Home. That name has served us well over the years—but over time, I began to sense something deeper stirring in me. A holy hunger. A slow-growing ache for more wholeness, more clarity, more language around what it means to live fully alive as a woman of God.
And that’s why I’m here, offering you this next chapter.
I started noticing there was a piece missing…I have spent so much time maturing in my study of who God is and maturing in my mind and sprit. But, God made my body, too. A good body. A female body. And I wanted to know what God had to say about that.
That hunger has grown into a new vision—a vision not just for my life and story, but for this podcast and the community we’re building together.
Female by Design is about more than sex or marriage (though we’ll keep talking about those!). It’s about reclaiming what’s been silenced, distorted, or overlooked when it comes to our womanhood. It’s about re-learning how to see our bodies—not as burdens or shameful distractions—but as good, beautiful gifts from God.
This isn’t about sex as a topic—it’s about a whole way of being female by design.
In this episode, I share more of the behind-the-scenes of how this shift came to be. I bring you into my own journey—my wrestlings, my wonderings, the stories I’ve heard from women around the world, and the vision God has been steadily forming in my heart.
The more I walked with women and listened to their stories, the more I saw God inviting us into a deeper, more embodied experience of Him. This podcast is one piece of that unfolding.
If your heart longs for more...
If you’re tired of disconnection—between your faith and your body, your desire and your theology...
If you want to live with more peace, more pleasure, and more presence in your own skin...
You are so welcome here.
My hope is that this podcast becomes a place of healing and reformation, where we explore the integration of our sexuality and spirituality, where we lay down shame, and where we step into the fullness of who God designed us to be as women.
